Scene from movie in my own life

I had to post this...remember the scene when they're almost out of food and Evelyn makes soup of out what's in an enevelope? The kids are about to eat it and one of them tells her there are bugs in the soup. She says no, those are spices. The kid says, how can it be spices? They have little legs. She tells them don't be silly, spices don't have legs. Something like that.

Well this morning I poured myself a bowl of cereal, added milk and sat down to have breakfast. As I was eating, I noticed a tiny black dot floating. I didn't know what it was, but thought it might be a speck of dirt and didn't want it in the milk. So I used my fingertip to get it and wiped my finger on a napkin, then continued eating. I saw another and another. I was thinking maybe there was some kind of residue on the bowl from the dishwasher and that I just didn't notice before pouring the cereal. I kept fishing out the little specks w/ my finger and wiping them on my napkin. After a couple of min., I had about 8 or 9 tiny black dots on the napkin. I thought of the scene in "Defiance" and I told myself, no these can't be little bugs like in the movie. It's got to be tiny pieces of dirt from something. Just then I looked down at the napkin and to my astonishment, I see that one of the little specks of "dirt" is walking! Moving around on the napkin. Eeeeeewwwwww! Really disgusting. Sure killed my appetite. I like to think I caught all the ones that were in the bowl and didn't eat any w/ the cereal.
