why was this never advertised?
i'm in love with Johnny Knoxville!!
because we live in america..land of Fast and the Furious and never-ending teeny bopper films.
shareIt was advertised here in NYC. The distribution company didn't make a hype out of it so that's why not many people noticed it. But then again, how do you make a hype out of an ordinary mid-west housewife who gets by by winning prizes here and there?
shareDreamworks backs crap and throws away quality films. They are a bunch of idiots who want to keep pumping out all these mindless action flicks with loud noises. They have never even heard what a true story consists of.
Mommy to two little monsters
Actually, I saw a preview for it a couple of weeks ago. It said coming soon, but its 2007 and it was released in 2005? Strange. Maybe it is like the recent movie "Slow Burn". Slow Burn was made in like 2005, but recently released.

Because sheep won't watch it. I guess they thought White Chicks was a more fulfilling story?
shareNo idea. The only reason I ended up watching it is because I found it in a $5 stack of DVDs at a local movie store.

Don't believe everything you think.
Serendipidy!
shareReally?!I've been wanting to watch it for a while now, Amazon is pretty slow, and that movie is pretty costly here in Canada it's like $40!!
share"here in Canada it's like $40!"
And is worth every single cent - take it from one who knows! ;-)
Hi tessa0104,
have you tried EBay.ca yet???
As it's a lot cheaper, plus the exchange rate is the best it's been in years if it's coming from the States. Along with the DVDs and books, they also have a audio CD version listed.....
Cathy from Alberta, Canada :O)
Nope, I dont really trust EBay. Besides I already placed an order on Amazon, I'm getting the "used" version, haven't got here yet hope it's in a good condition. I'm also planning to get the book as well.
Thank you soo much for the suggestion.
It was a lovely and charming film. I am so glad I saw it!
