Does anyone else think that there was a lot of character development lost because Will didn't die? Or am I the only person who wishes he would have died instead of figuring out he could fly?

Will Scarlett has stolen my heart.

A tragic moment like that would have been horribly out of place in a light hearted feel good movie like this.

Not necessarily. It would have been the right moment, and it wasn't terribly out of place.

What has dying got to do with whatever character development is? It's a movie!

Usually when people die, they stop developing character. Or anything else. Maybe a couple of maggots here and there. Yeah.
