BEST LINE IN THE MOVIE

At the end when Linda Carter is walking out of the dentention room with the villian kids and she says, "I've done all I can do--I'm not wonder woman you know."

I actually laughed out loud at that

How silly of us, to think we could borrow a book from THE LIBRARY!!

reply

That's only funny if you know who Linda Carter is.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

reply

FYI Lynda Carter wasn't a supermodel but she WAS a beauty pageant winner, Miss World America.

reply

It is pretty funny, but I don't understand why this line seems dubbed in. Maybe after they wrapped shooting they though "OH YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE SAID"

reply

haha maybe! i duno i laughed originally but it may have been an unsure giggle, but as i love going on this i figured it out and laughed twice as hard when i heard it again!

reply

Haha, good call. Seems plausible.

reply

That was the funniest but the "o my god i made out with an old lady" came in second

"When I say hurry please interpret that as move your fat tub of lard ass NOW!"-Scream

reply

Ooh I forget. Who said the line about making out with an old lady?

reply

It was Will, right after Gwen reveals to him that she's not Royal Pain's daughter, she is Royal Pain. Regarding the OP, MetMacFan is right. It's only funny because it's a clever reference. I wouldn't have understood it if I didn't have the assumed knowledge. In the context of the movie itself, I'd say the funniest to me were "I went through puberty twice for this?!", "Surprised? So am I!" and the whole dialogue between the sidekicks and Warren when they sit down at his table. But my favourite line is undoubtedly the last line. I agree with steven-digby, it's one of the most apt and original ending lines of any movie.

Seeking a superhero for the end of the world.

reply

No love for "I went through puberty twice... for this?" OP?

reply

Pretty much anything Magenta says as a guinea pig.

reply

"oh and mr peace? Regrettably I have made boom-boom"

best line in any movie

reply

"Suprised so am I" when Will flies is my favorite

And if you want to be the teacher's pet baby you just better forget it... she's got a gun.

reply

"Oh and Mr. Peace? Regrettably I have made boom-boom"

I remember having to watch that scene several times because it completely cracked me up. Other favorites:

"You're not supposed to use your powers outside of school!"..."I was just gonna stick it in the microwave."

"Oh my God. I made out with an old lady."

"Way to go, Popsicle."
and my personal fave, from one of the best guy-to-guy conversations in film, "Dude, you're so stupid. She's totally into you."
Loved that line.

Also enjoyed the conversation between Warren and the sidekicks when they all sit at his table the first time. "Try the other way around."

reply

"My girlfriend became my enemy; my enemy became my best friend; my bestfriend became my girlfriend. But that's high school"

Best final line of ANY movie.

Kill the spare

reply

What steven-digby-2 says, but according to this website, the line goes: "In the end, my girlfriend became my arch enemy, my arch enemy became my best friend, and my best friend became my girlfriend. But hey, it's high school."

And a line that says almost everything you need to know about high school relationships.

reply

I always liked.... "Remember when we used to use REAL citizens?"

reply

Haha, yeah that one is on my list. I also like when the gym teacher is trying to convince the science teacher to go on a double date and says something like "her twin is an evil one!". Some real gems in this kids' movie.

reply

...and "That makes sense... the Commander doesn't have time to look through scrap books <under breath> that I made for him."

reply

In my opinion, the best line in the movie is:

When Royal Pain is explaining her backstory, Stitches calls her "Daddy's little girl", and she yells "told you never to CALL ME THAT!"

To me, that line never gets old.

reply

-To let true love remain unspoken is the quickest route to a heavy heart.
-Wow, that is really deep!
- Yeah. And your lucky numbers are... 4, 16, 5... and 49.

"Oh my God, I made out with an old lady"

"I've done all I can do--I'm not wonder woman you know."

"I went through puberty twice... for this?"

Those are my favorites

fun movie !
