The 2 of them together are hilarious.
The scene where Barris comes home with the bicycle and the lemon cycling pants and starts to debate what happened to the rest of the gears makes me laugh.
Love most of the dialogue in this film.
Agreed; Robert Downey Jr stole the film; any scene in this he's in is comedy gold.

I have to say while reading the book, I had known before reading it that Downey was in the movie. I realized after about three pages of Barris, that SURELY this was the character Downey played in the movie. And I was right.

Woody Harrelson is also a funny character. A pothead (Or should I say "Substance D-Head) who becomes paranoiac each 5 minutes.
Their characters works as the comic relief and as perfect example on how that particular substance could affect the personality of anyone who uses on a daily basis.
