The trailer is bloody brilliant!
I'm really looking forward to this one. Alan Rickman is among my favorite actors!
And i thought my movies were bad.

I saw the trailer recently and thought it looked astonishingly bad; one of those occasions where the cast think they're being funny and just come across as smug and self-indulgent. The sixties origins of the story were also plainly obvious with the gags coming across in a very sub-Blake Edwards fashion without the benefit of a Peter Sellers to save them.
Rickman really shouldn't be allowed to work with directors who can't control him, as he's just an egotistical old ham when let off the leash.
They were going for a retro feel with this movie and that's probably going to be a major factor in whether people like it or find it dated.
I think Rickman is knowingly hammy when required (often in comedic situations and most famously as the Sheriff of Nottingham). Then he is fully capable of being subtle in quieter movies like Sense & Sensibility, Something The Lord Made, Truly Madly Deeply, Perfume, Snow Cake, etc. The clips in the trailer are the majority of his hammy scenes in the whole movie and it's done with good reason.
