To call this a remake of Gambit...
...Is really a stretch of the imagination. This movie might have done better with an original title. It's a good con movie comedy, good Coen brothers script (they should've directed it, it would've been even better). But other than the plot of trying to con a rich man, it has very little resemblance to the original.
