Did this remind anyone else of the pink panther with steve martin? not just because of the opening

Actually I thought the whole movie felt like a Blake Edwards tribute (or imitation). If you pay attention to the Soundtrack, it totally could be inspired from any of Blakes cooperations with Henry Mancini. Also the way the sneaky-comedy scenes are filmed or the whole "walking around without pants" sequence and the twist in the end is very much Blake Edwards flavoured.
shareEveryone is very spot-on here. Edwards style and films were very much an inspiration for the approach to this movie, and in particular Colin mentioned Edwards and Sellers as inspirations throughout filming. :)
