Rated PG-13 for 'a rude gesture'?

What was the rude gesture? I watched the entire movie with my eyes wide open and I couldn't pick it out. Was it when the older woman thought she was alone and she let out a big fart? Oh, you proper Brits. :P

Anyway, I thought it was a mediocre effort at best. I'm not familiar with the earlier film, but it felt like this one was trying to be too slick for its own good. I didn't even realize the first 15 minutes were meant to be a visualization of the upcoming events because it didn't come across well at all. I guess the end con was good, but who would have thought he wouldn't have had a proper security system? How would he have pulled it off then?

The funniest bit was the whole "pants" sequence at the hotel. It's too bad that after all that effort, he couldn't get the damn vase out.

****spoiler alert*****

Probably the scenes, mainly the end one where alan Rickman is naked

reply

In the beginning Alan Rickman's character gives the other bidder the finger while exiting the auction.

reply

It wasn't his middle finger he held up, though, it was the finger next to the thumb, which is like him gesturing "I'm number 1"

reply

No, it was the middle finger. Your eyesight must be awful.
And why would he stick his index finger up? What are you thinking?

reply

Hahahahaha watch it again, Inspector Clouseau.

huge fan of rude gestures.

A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.

reply

Definitely middle finger. The thumb is hidden and you can clearly see two fingers to the right and one to the left.
