This probaly happened a long time ago, but do you guys remember that other Toonami show with that smaller robot and then something happened and became that big and taller robot. You know that robot that introduces the "Toonami" show now.

You mean TOM, the host of the Toonami line-up?
Well, he started out small in the late 90's after replacing Moltar as host.
Around September 2000 during "The Intruder," the first Total Immersion Event, he dies, then he gets upgraded into a new body as TOM2, which he continued hosting in that form.
Then around March 2003, he goes through another upgrade, this time his body is a bit larger, and for another year, Toonami would air on weekdays, before taking back the Saturday night slot in April 2004.
