The Sensuality of the Poster

Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson were lookin' good in 2006, and the poster for Little Children makes sure that we feel it.

They're naked, and yet not, and clearly "involved," and I would suspect that the poster helped bring in audiences..though evidently not big audiences.

The movie "delivered" on the poster in that the two characters -- married to other people in the East Coast suburban community where they live -- do get together for some adulterous activity, some of it nicely graphic, with some nudity on the menu. Again, Winslet and Wilson...pretty good lookin.

Which is..about all I have to say on this.

The movies need more sensuality and consensual sex scenes.

Oh, I'll add this: Patrick Wilson also had a pretty good nude sex scene in "Watchmen"(2009) but the actor himself was then and remains now a rather "colorless" actor...bland of face and usually unable to play characters of much charisma or power. Its possibly why he's done the nude scenes...to , er "stick out."
