Was much better than Hurt Locker.

I know.. Youth In Revolt is one of my favourite Michael Cera movies.

IT was released January 8th. I don't think it had an awards premiere. A movie qualifies for an Oscar if released in NY and LA for one week. Hurt Locker for instance was made and screened in 08 but officially debuted in 09 and won the Oscar in 10. So, yeah, YIR is still eligible, though almost nothing released in January is ever nominated.
