Wow, most overrated film ever? (spoilers)

Watching the trailer, I thought, "wow, it's got potential". Well no I was wrong, just another really lame, soft spoken, low talker nerd gets the girl film AGAIN!
It starts off with potential and then bam, they kill of the funniest guy in hollywood right now Zach Galifianakis. So Michael Cera is in highschool again, which no one in this film even uses the same vocabulary as any modern day highschooler. Cera wears a dress like all these other actors have to do like it's some kind of initiation. And a car crashes in the most unrealistic cgi I've ever seen. Really good actors, boring lines, a lot of when is this crap going to end. But yeah it was well advertised so I guess they made a good profit so next year they can make another one of these.
I'm no square but to me it just seemed like a film portraying sex in a very bad way, like it's some kind of competition, very unnecessary. I could see a lot of 14 year old kids watching this and thinking, I wanna have sex with my Francois, it's fun to be bad, and bam 14,000 new teen mothers. Good thing they deleted the condom scene, didn't want to make it look too responsible.
I didn't really understand where it was going half the time, it kinda seemed like it was trying to be an 80's teen film like "Better Off Dead". But it fell way short of the K-12.

Zach Galifianakis wasn't funny at all in this. I'm not familiar with his work, but if he's really that funny, his talent was surely wasted here.

He's great in The Hangover, Out Cold and others. He's good at being, blunt, drunk, silly, and forgetful.

This movie said no, we'll kill him off fast and make Justin Long a boring stoner unlike his incredibly funny stoner character in Strange Wilderness.

Well, I guess he was blunt and drinking in this, but it didn't come off as being very funny.

I usually don't like Justin Long, but I didn't mind him so much here. Maybe it was just the random way in which they used him. However, I am grateful that they didn't use Jack Black in either role.

ZG is funny playing himself in the movies - random, wacky party boy. I'll give you that. Funniest man in Hollywood? No. Not even close. Stephen Correll, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, hell - even Sasha Baron Cohen, are all much funnier overall. They write hiliarious varied routines/set ups, perform varied characters, and produce great product.

ZG does some funny stand up, has a bunch of friends in the business, and shows up to help them party. I'm sure he brings the booze, and plays the piano too. Great party buddy, not the "funniest man in hollywood".

Your "bro" is not a criteria for comedy genius.

I gotta disagree. Stephen Correll is one dimensional and only plays the clueless guy. His best part was in Anchorman. Ben Stiller is very talented but his comedy isn't for everyone. He is good but along with Adam Sandler, they are too old and are pretty much done. Chris Rock is great at standup but there's plenty of new guys taking his place, he's not Martin Lawerence done, but he could never lead in a great comedy again. Sasha Baron Cohen is a genius right along with Jim Carrey but the characters he created are all used up. I doubt if he will be back at Borat potential anytime soon. ZG is the not the newest guy on the scene and no he isn't the best but he is right there with Danny Mcbride, stepping on the hills of Will Farrel who will go down as a legend. He is relevant, Adam Sandler is not.
