Was this filmed in Maryland? There is a mentioning of it being in Bethesda,Md but did they just film elsewhere?

Besides the onscreen filming in Mexico and Greece the movie was filmed in Canada which surprised me because it looks like it would have been filmed in Maryland.

Whoever Tore Down The Rent Stage Destroyed the Nederlander Theatre and Broadway itself.
