tears anyone?

i always cry when carmen calls her dad and finally tells him how she feels. i figure most people probably cry when tibby visits bailey, but that doesn't get me. maybe because i've seen that type of thing so many times before..

Yes, it reminds me of myself, I have a lot of repressed emotions towards my dad, difference is he wouldn't feel bad or have an ounce of sympathy. So, yeah, I cry too.

I'm in the exact same boat, especially about the no ounce of sympathy part. Feel for you. Hugs.

I cry through the entire last half of the movie. This is one of those that never loses its effect on me no matter how many times I watch it haha

At what time does the narwhal bacon?

reply

Same here. No matter how many times I've seen this movie I can't believe how much I'm crying throughout the entire last half! I have a lot of emotions towards an absent father as well. I've never met my dad, he left my mom when she was 3 months pregnant and doesn't want anything to do with me. So similar storylines always get to me.

Both of those scenes and the one where Bridgette breaks down about not wanting to be like her mother really hit home and make me cry with each of them.

I'll always feel, no more than halfway real. Till I hear you sing once more

i cried many times watching this movie. It had way more tear-jerker moments than I was expecting. Great film to watch with your girlfriends.

I bet most people can't get through the moment where Tibby tries to give the pants to Bailey.
