shareHer mother suffered from Bipolar disorder. She had extreme highs and extreme lows. During one of her extreme lows- She killed herself. In the second book, it is mentioned that her daughter found her body with a needle stuck in her arm. Further discussion as to what was in the needle is not covered- that I remember.
