does anybody know the title of the song the father

This is a song he did not write, of course the Carpenter's did. It is a standard, a wedding song. For all we know. It's on "A Donny Hathaway Collection". 1990
"For all we know" is correct I only know Ruben Studdard version because it was on his "Soulful" CD which came out back in 2004. I have heard of Donnie Hataway and I liked his version of the song also. "For all we Know" is one of my favorite songs.

Donny Hathaway, Incredible. Gone decades too soon. His music makes me cry to this day. More soul than any other. God made out I tell you:-)
