What version did you see? The one where she get out in the end, or the one where she goes insane instead, still trapped inside the cave (which was how it originally ended)? I have a suspicion that it is the first version.

Huh?? I thought there was only one version?? The version I watched showed her dreaming that she got out in the end but wakes up still trapped. I loved it. Much scarier and just overall better story than this piece of crap called "The Cave"...poorly made, poorly written, monsters were poorly done...just bad...I mean winged demons?? Hahahahah stupid....I never even jumped once or screamed.

I like the "DESCENT" better and I've seen the theatrical version. I've watched "the Cave" on television and it bored me to tears and I fell a sleep.

But you see, here in Europe we don't have test audiences, so the director's own vision ends up on screen. The Descent got its ending cut in the US, because the original ending was too bleak. So fricking what?? It was the way it was meant to be!

Sweetheart....the the sequel is based off the "Americanized" ending; for all intensive purposes, it is "the real" ending.
