How did Kathryn (Lena Headley's character) get infected?

I don't remember, but I'm about to break out the DVD and figure it out!
This movie holds up so well. Every time its on tv I watch it. Then I want to see the parts that are not cut out so I need to watch the dvd.
None of those others like the Descent and stuff are nearly as good.
I don't get how they are rated higher. This movie deserved a sequel.

Coolness! I liked the rated cut of the Descent since it had a more upbeat ending

LOL hilarious, I was about to post my own personal opinion that this movie was no where near as good as Descent.

The Cave sure seemed to have a good budget, judging by the CGI. Maybe they should have spent an extra dollar on the script???

I think it got Kathryn when she about to go over the waterfall. She was telling to Tyler that something had grabbed her.
