So...anyone know why Constance Zimmer left?

My guess would be budget constraints. Only real mar on the show was the ever changing supporting cast. :)

she got tired of clarence "cross-dresser" revolving characters door! how ever did she put up with me is bewildering...

Besides Shirley, Denny and Alan, Claire was my favorite character... I was a little upset that the show didn't give any explanation as to why she left.
