What episode opens with NHL argument by Alan Shore?

Can anyone tell me what season and episode opens (or around there) with Alan argueing about an NHL player involved in fisty cuffs (or something like that). Thanks

That was actually an episode of The Practice late in season 8 after Alan left to join CP&S. I love that argument. It was done shortly after that thug Todd Betuzzi ended Stephen Moore's career with a sucker punch.
