Alan always closes second

Have you noticed that Alan always, or almost always, delivers his closing arguments second even if he represents the plaintiff. I guess the producers thought without the dramatic music and the view of the jury looking in awe, his 5 minute long ramblings wouldn't be that effective. I think in real life a short closing straight to the point would much more effective than all the crap about global warming nobody can really remember.

So? It's a TV courtroom drama (part comedy) and he and William Shatner were the stars. Of course Alan's going to usually be 2nd ,it does punctuate the things he has to say mroe ,than if he went first.

He does go first sometimes but in my opinion ,his statements are no less powerful. Makes it easy to forget that David Spade didn't write those himself.

Alan Shore really believes in the things he talks
about in the courtroom and I've no doubt Spade does as well.

HAPPI : I rememeber all Alan said quite well thank you.
....and I haven't seen an episode in over 2 years.

Global warming and all other issues presented on the show were not "crap" ,they're still very ,very serious problems that still exist.

It's 'short and to the point' that's boring. Who'd have tuned in to see Spade or Shatner or the others do that? (...or do you just have something against Spade's monolouges?)

Go for it or just be a gopher!
