Do the cases get complicated?
4 eps in and the cases are just fluff. Vehicles to push their lame characters to be lame at each other. I want quality cases with quality work behind them. This show have them?

shareMost of the cases are not that memorable to be honest. This is not a "court drama" type of show like Law & Order. There are several court cases I remember, and one discussed guns. Denny dresses up like a revolutionary war soldier. That was awesome.
BTW... if you haven't seen The Practice, take a look at that. It is more dramatic, with some awesome stories. It is by the same writer. Also by David E Kelly is the movie From the Hip which has some great courtroom drama
I'm nearly through season 3... so far the most memorable case stretched over a six episode arc featuring Jeffrey Coho as the defense attorney.
