Women in Boston Legal

How come all women in Boston Legal have the exact same body shape : extremely skinny, no breasts?
And they all have long hair? Is there a message here? Of course there is.

Sally and Tara neither had "no breasts". Plenty had short hair.

Plenty had short hair.
Are you kidding? Not one woman on that show had short hair ( = Halle Berry's length). With the exception of Betty White and Candace Bergen, every actress on that show had long hair, at least to the shoulders and in many cases well below. And if you don't think shoulder-length qualifies as "long," then I suggest you grow yours out and spend an hour or more every day blow-drying/flat-ironing it -- THEN you'll understand the difference between long, medium-length, and short hair.

And don't forget that all of the women on the show, except Shirley, dressed in tight, provocative clothes that no real-life lawyers or paralegals would wear.

Same old, same old. In Hollywood, men can be old and/or fat and/or funny-faced -- Auberjonois, Shatner, Spader, the actors who played Jerry and Clarence, the male judges, the male clients -- but women have to be 30-y-old Barbie dolls if they want to get hired. Sick sick sick representation of this misogynistic society.
