what's her role in Ninja Gaiden? what ends up happening to her?

Actually I did a LONG while ago and I completely gave up on it when trying to fight off the ninja with the exploding shurikens. So can you "controller of planet x" or anyone else at all be able to answer my question(s) regarding Ayane already?

So she doesn't have any real contribution to the storyline? That's a fu**in waste and that sucks! By the way, thanks for answering my question unlike the rest of these lazy assclowns.
