I need cheating advice

Nah there are no cheat codes in this game. Basically, the only way to play the classic ng games is to beat the game with all the scarabs. To get the scarab on top of the train you have to jump from the carriage beside it. You will have to swing your sword while jumping to get extra distance otherwise you wont make it. Cash all the scarabs into Maramusa before completing the game and he will give you classic ng 1.

To get classic NG 2, having gotten clasic NG 1, Play thru the game again on 'successive play'. At Tairon, at on the balcony above that door with all the colorful jewels (with the switch) shoot an arrow at the clock face on the clock tower. Then, go thu those doors and up the stairs that take u to the base of the clock tower (where u faught the black ninjas) and a chest is there. Open up the chest for Classic NG2

For NG 3, playing thru the same game. At the aquaducts near the end with that huge shiny hall with all the pink monsters. Look up. you should see one of the collumns along the wall is broken at the top. To a triangle jump thingee between the 2 collumns and at the top of this collumn is NG3. If you complete the game on successive - all 3 games will be available to play from the menu. Otherwise, you'll have to use that game machine in the bar at Tairon.

Alternatively, you can try and beat the game getting 'master ninja' for every level on each difficulty setting to get all three classic games.
