Paul Verhoeven should have directed this!

Ok, I have watched little bits and pieces of this over the years, and have always ended up turning it off because it is so unwatchable. When Aeon Flux used to be on MTV back in the early-mid 90's, I kept thinking that if a movie of this was ever made, it would have to be done in the style of "Total Recall", Robocop" & "Basic Instinct". All 3 of those movies were directed by Paul Verhoeven, who, at the time, was known for making big budget sci-fi thrillers, and wasn't afraid to go for the jugular in terms of violence, sex, and social/corporate satire. I wouldn't have minded seeing a PV version of Aeon Flux get released in the mid/late 90's. I could have seen Peter Weller or Michael Ironside play Trevor Goodchild and an unknown actress (who is very acrobatic and athletic) play the title role. One could easily have heard a Jerry Goldsmith type score for the soundtrack, with Kevin Yagher doing the make-up/EFX.

I'm so scared your little head will come off in my hands!
