I would have liked to have seen one as well. Maybe it wasn't a crowd favorite, but I thought it was a great film!

I watch it on a semi-regular basis and I love it!! You and I have similar tastes. I'm surprised you don't like it.

It was a major box office flop

It didn't make enough money for anybody to want to produce a sequel.
And besides, the story didn't really leave anything open for a sequel to happen.
