So people... movie fans alike. It has come to my attentions that LionsGate is trying to squash this movie for lack of a better term. Studio politics seems to be playing a part in depriving the world of one the most noteworthy films created in out recent history. With all the remakes and garbage that it released to the masses on a daily bases it seems utterly reprehensible to let a film like this be disregarded entirely. So what do you movie fans think about this? How can we rally around the others who support this film and provide our own brand of support. It's up to the consumers now. we have to tell them what we want and make then once and for all cater to the public.

I SAW it at the Tribeca fest. It was incredibly psychotic of me...since I dont even LIVE in NY-took the greyhound from Charlotte b/c I thought Ms. Lane would be at the premiere (she WASNT-Sutherland and the others WERE-I stood six FEET from him at the red carpet with the flashbulbs popping-SHE was finishing up "Must Love Dogs"!)

It WAS a little over the top. Seguing from light social satire and comedy and romance...into sudden tragedy(s). But the acting was GREAT from Sutherland Yelchin, Evans (chillingly good as the Heavy!) and of course the wonderful and amazing Diane Lane who always chews up the scenery. She's really becoming a household word and I LUV her sewwww!!
