At first you thought it was going to be a mild comedy/drama then the second half turns into a murder mystery with mixed results.
Most of it was absurd but mildly entertaining. Diane Lane's character was ridiculous but Sutherland was heading this show.
Not bad if on cable and you are bored.

the second half didnt turn into a murder mystery. it was more along the lines of finn being raped and who done that. as far as i know nobody suspected bryce of killing sutherland, and since it showed us the killing it was no mystery.. and he didnt actually kill him til maybe 20 minutes, give or take, till the end. but yeah murder wasnt even brought up... maybe it was in the book but i didnt read it. so im speaking of the movie only.

My thoughts exactly. Weird little movie. Don't agree with all the Negative reviews on rottentomatoes. It was decent but not good. 6/10 .
