*spoilers* Parents Guide
Does anyone else find it odd that they left out the whole Finn gets beaten and raped part of the movie in the parents guide?
sharei also found it odd that the posters and trailer for this movie make it seem like a lighthearted summer vacation type of film. the entire marketing just seems really bizarre. i do think the movie (and the book) was way ahead of its time though. it probably would have been more appreciated a lot more if it was filmed, say, 10 years from now or even *now*. But it did have a great cast, so I'm glad it was made when it was made (the book's even older).
