Sorry if it's been covered but does anyone know the song which is in french nearing the end of the movie?

Do you mean the song that his friend (Laurent) is singing to him in the hospital? I know you don't mean the end credits music because that's in English.

Is it La Mer?? which plays when Jean gets paralyzed while riding with his son in the car?? it also plays in the opening credits.

I'd only heard it in English before but the English version is called "Beyond the Sea." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somewhere_Beyond_the_Sea

I'm interested in the song played during the opening credits. It's a happy tune, sang in French.

I remember this from a much older french movie I saw in (maybe) 98-99, but it was older. Unfortunately, the song and sketchy ideas from the plot is all I can remember from that movie. Any help is much appreciated.

thanks so much. I've identified the song and the movie: toto le heros. unfortunately 'toto' is not available on DVD in the US.
