my brother is 15 and i tried to get him to sit down and watch this film. started playing with his phone 10 minutes in, then left to go watch SAW 5 at the cinema soo it really depends if he/she has an attention span longer than a flea

no time for the old in-out love, i've just come to read the meter

I see this question asked on about every movie board, and I always find it slightly pointless. I know 14 of 15 year olds that would like and appreciate this movie, and I know many would be bored out of their minds. It really depends on the person, not the age. Would a 30 year old like this movie? It depends on their tastes.

This movie is not fast paced and I wouldn't recommend it for those that don't have a long attention span. However, a mature person of nearly any age may enjoy this movie.

I'm 14 and this is my second favorite movie of last year. Then again, my movie taste differs from many of my friends. When I told one of my friends that I was going to watch "Vicky Christina Barcelona" she asked me "Is that like Harry Potter?" and I'm not even joking.

i was 12 when i saw this, i loved it. i think you have to have some level of maturity and respect for the vision. i tried showing it to many people who thought it was annoying but i think its beautiful.
How can I answer that if you got the nerve to ask me? - I'm Not There.

Here are the imdb voting numbers on this movie. I found it quite intriguing how younger and older females obviously liked this movie less than the same aged male group. I'd love to know the reason behind it...

I'm not sure myself what to make of that data, but off the top of my head (haven't seen this movie in a few years but loved it)... Perhaps it's because there were a couple parts with him sexualizing women and it's told from a male perspective. I don't remember if he says anything graphic about women, I doubt it, at least not something overtly sexual since it's PG-13 but that could be a part of the reason.

I guess I have a lot of random musings/reasonings behind the data, but it's only possbilities, not truth.
I know I'm 19 now and I must have seen this when I was about 16 and just fell in love with everything about it. It might be a maturity level / personal experience thing.
