Right at the start of this movie, Jean-Do sees (visualises??) a woman in his room, putting up pictures. Is this Ines (his mistress)?

Just because they mention for the rest of the film that she hasn't visited.

And when she's on the phone he looks at the picture (presumably of her).

Also, did I see John Galliano? I'm sure I saw Lenny Kravitz.

Im not sure if that was Ines.
Yes he was on the picture.
And yes in the photoshoot I see John Galliano and Lenny Kravitz, BUT I dont know if there were the real ones.

She wasn't a mistrees she was his girlfriend just as his ex girlfriend with the kids is his ex.

Right, many people have kids without being married in France, that happens a lot.

His ex and him were apparently on good terms.

Yes, it's Inès - in the memory (Jean-Do says her name inside his head) and in the photo.

And yes, it was (the real) Lenny Kravitz. Don't know about Galliano.
