This or 'My Left Foot'?
Both are incredible stories of men who both only had one usable part and were still able to create great artwork.
In Diving Bell, Jean-Do is able to write a book by using his one usable part, his eye, blinking in code while someone else wrote it down.
Daniel Day Lewis won an Oscar for My Left Foot, the story of an artist who only has one usable limb, and paints with his left foot.
Both are stories of men trapped inside their bodies who are still able to find a way to express themselves and create incredible works of art using what limited resources they have.
Both are truly fantastic movies, and it's too close to call for me. I like them both equally. What say you?
