Any other viewers w/ chronic illness that is fatal on IMDB?

Did anyone else watch this b/c they have a chronic disability and wanted to see an example of someone who DID NOT allow the hospitals/doctors/hospice/nursing home on wheels to prolong their life as long as possible, to the pignut to where a "life" consists of being in constant pain and having all your masculinity and pride stripped away from you to be replaced with huge medical bills that will put your family -blood relatives, wife, and kids in debt for the rest of their lives-effectively trading a few years filled with torment and slow agonizing physical decline --only there because of cutting edge medical tech-- for the best, most productive, healthy, and happy lives of your family, children, spouses, and siblings?
Whe in the hospital, a Christian preacher told me that if I prayed enough God would find a way to pay my bills, yet I find this increasing hard to believe.
How come it is heroic to allow endless medical invasion of our bodies when this has a huge impact On those who are healthy surrounding us?
Anyways, I believe Bardems character made an ethically and morally defensible decision.
Is there anyone else on the web who thinks like this and lives on the northeast?
If so, please give give me a PM and we can talk mire in private.
Thanks alot,
Chiari Malformation Man

It's been many years since you posted this - BUT we were the first state; OREGON, to grant death with dignity, so I do understand where you were at, it's been along time, but I FEEL INCREDIBLY strong about your vision, and obviously so do many Oregonians and now Washingtonians, so please feel free to contact The Right to Die organisations in ORE or WA. This is one of the few issues that I feel incredibly STRONG about.
