I Couldn't Stop Laughing in all the Scenes with Drunk Pete
I had had a few beers. Was that really funny or not?
Welcome to the bottomless pit.

Welcome to the bottomless pit.
I thought he was hilarious and I watched it completely sober.
Which brings me to my second point, kids. Don't do crack.
I am glad someone agrees with me. Oscar Platt is an excellent actor.
Welcome to the bottomless pit.
Oliver Platt was great but the scene that got me laughing was when Cusack and Thornton were driving the car with the trunk in the back seat and they guy in the trunk kept talking to them. That was hysterical! The other part I liked was on the special features part of the DVD that showed and outtake with Billy Bob Thornton doing a scene as his character in "Sling Blade". That was worth a second look.
"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball!"
Oliver Platt was awesome. I couldnt stop laughing when he started eating the turkey like a complete animal or the whole dialogue with the christian waitress and the boyfriend
sharePlatt was having a great time with his drunk line readings.
Look at him with the beautiful Christian bartender saying:
"In my dream...you're wearing that necklace, and,.....THAT'S IT!"
He says "that's it!" so fast its like "THASSIT!" with funny hand motions and all.
And that's when he sees her handsome boyfriend, and just keeps digging the hole deeper as long-suffering sad-sack John Cusack does his textbook funny-moody "how'd I get stuck in this?" routine.
And then after being dragged out onto the sidewalk, he remarks, "I think I scraped my tummy," like a drunk little boy.
Great performance.
