i'm pretty sure the OP was aware he was spelling stupid wrong. personally, i think there's a better word for this film.

that's teh genius behind it. teh movie is abotu existentialism, the concept of which is everythign is pointless.

I wouldn't say the movie was stoooopid. But it wasn't very good either. It seemed to me that Ramis, Thornton, and Cusak should have produced something a lot more interesting. It seemed like it was trying to be a Blue Velvet or Fargo but fell way short.
