Ahem. Dark comedy?

Okay, so this movie is supposedly funny because it is dark. Now i'm not sure, maybe I'm just too desensitized, but nothing in this movie came across as dark humor to me. Sure some people die, sure there is some drunken beligerance, sure cusack gets screwed over. Whatever. I guess if you find that kind of thing funny, I just don't see it, it was boring as hell (to me). I guess once you no longer find things like this as 'twisted' and comical you lose your appeal to movies like this. Not because I find them disturbing mind you, just because they are boring. Now an example of a good dark comedy that can actually be dark while simultaneously being a comedy would have to be bad santa.

My humble opinion.

It was marketed totally wrong. It is a nice little caper-gone-wrong-noir-thriller, with some moments of dark humor.

Get darker than that *beep* (IMDB does ban the n-word when its spelled properly, doesn't it?).

I also recommend watching a bit light hearted, but of the same tone "Dark Comedy" called Big nothing.
