Just brought nothing to the movie. Just randomly popped up and the movie would have been better without him.

I kind of liked him annoyingly popping up throughout the night. Almost felt bad for him in the end, though.

His character saved people from coming here and saying "Where are the cops when all these drunks are causing problems all over town?"
