It's rare that a sequel lives up to the first (not counting films that are purposely designed to have sequels -- which are typically based on books), so here's hoping that this one can hold it's own compared to the first installment.

I really liked Lord of War and can't imagine a sequel will have the same aura about it. But I'll definitely check out the new one when it gets here and keep my fingers crossed.

Interesting. Lord of War is one of my favourite Nic Cage movies.

It's funny, this wasn't one of my favorite Nic Cage movies. But I am interested in seeing a 'where is Yuri now' kind of thing. We see how it goes I reckon.

I just rewatched Lord of War. I think it's one of Cage's best. Still a great movie. I wonder if they are still making the sequel.
