Boring
This film is boring and plotless. I've got ten minutes before it ends and i couldn't care less who dies

shareBoring if you wish but pointless? Not for a second! Unless of course you think a movie that demonstrates the immorality of leading Western governments and exposes them as little more than mercenaries as pointless.
Awe Skinny you got blood all over my trousers! Jeez I'm real sorry sorry Frank
Yes, but you managed to sum it all up in one sentence, I wish I had just read this post and not watched a whole film about it.

Goodfellas! Didn't have one linear plot and it was still exciting, fun, captivating, rich, layered and dramatic.
Lord of War didn't have a linear plot, either, but it was mostly dull (but some of the dark humor jokes really worked), talky, preachy, aimless, unrealistic (in my city-boy homebody opinion), and at times boring.
By the way, is anyone who says anything negative about a movie a "troll"? I think a troll comment would be a lot more controversial or over-the-top than simply saying a movie is "boring."

just because it took you twice as long as him to get the film's message?
sharethis movie is great for me. i vote ten.
shareAgreed. it's one of my favorite films of all time out of the 1300-ish total films i seen.
in fact, it's probably comfortably in my Top 10 ever simply because while i can't pick a single film as the best ever i can say that there is not a single film out there that i could CLEARLY choose over Lord of War.
p.s. i am looking forward to Andrew Niccol's 'Now' (2011) which is due out later this year. it's a safe bet ill like that since putting Lord of War aside, i gave the other two films Niccol directed (Gattaca/S1m0ne) a 8/10 and while the cast of 'Now' looks decent i figure it's going to be good because of Niccol alone as he don't disappoint and for a bonus, the look of the film is just about guaranteed to be good as they got 'Roger Deakins' doing it and he's pretty much at the top as far as goes. so between Niccol's directing and Deakins lighting etc, the look of the film is going to be solid and Niccol has a nice feel/tone to his films.
