O/T: What do people think of Red Rock West?

One of Nicolas Cage's early films. It's an intriguing morality tale like this film. Has some action with Dennis Hopper and Lara Flynn Boyle. It is right on the edge of 7.00 at 6.90. More mature than his previous films but lacking the action of future films.

Btw I wonder if he was ever taken to task over saying that he'd add 'character' to action films in the mid-1990s, implying that they lacked it beforehand. they always complain about entertaining movies. I may not like the Transformers movies but they are entertaining and exciting for the masses to get their energy rev'd up.
