Love the movie, it's an amazing film, but I just found that part where the wife saying she's older and not as attractive anymore funny. She looked exactly the same throughout the whole movie, lol. I don't think they even attempted to make her look slightly older
shareNicky (the son) didn't age any either. He stayed about 5 through the whole film, but it was set over a period of around 10-15 years. Funny what we notice, and the simple things that producers do miss out
shareYeah, the hundreds of people who worked on this film and made it a reality were unable to spot that Yuri's wife and son were immortal. I think if you watched it again and more closely you'd realise that their ages and appearances are A-OK. THe flow of time can be very deceptive in a film.

shareWell her whole point was that she had never been sucessful at anything other than being pretty, and now she was slowly failing even at that. I don't think that specific realization makes someone "shallow."
