What nonfic|fiction book like LoW would you like seeing get film adapted
Irrespective if you loved the Lord of War film, or found it to be mediocre, what highly compelling, war themed and/or military themed nonfiction or fiction book/s you've read (with similar and/or even more interesting characters to those in the LoW film), do you want to see get film adapted.
Or cable TV series or mini-series adapted, if it'd need more time.
Please elaborate on why you think it'd make for compelling reading and similarly compelling viewing.
