Ms Edmonds Date With Jess

I don't find anything wrong with Ms Edmonds taking Jess out on a date. She seemed to be truly caring about him and encouraged him in every way. If she were in love with him I couldn't think of a better female teacher for him to be with, which Jess wanted to be alone with anyway to get his shot at her. I am writing an alternate story line about this that comes out favorably for them both. I don't see why do people get upset about their relationship, it's not like a young boy has never had an affair with a young woman it's been going on since the beginning of time and we're not going to stop crushes. A friend of mine from Columbia said that this type of thing happens all the time where he comes from, so what's the big deal?
