What happens to the bullies

After Jesse decks Scott Hoager, Janice observes Gary Fulcher shove Jesse to the floor in the hallway. Shortly following, you can see Fulcher walking up to the buses tending to a bloody nose. Next, Janice sits down beside Jesse rubbing her hands together implying she's the one who punched Gary.

In conclusion, it can be assumed Janice and Jesse became at least somewhat of friends, but there's no indication as to Hoager and Fulcher ever being empathic.

The two bully boys would eventually go on to become McDonalds/Burger King clerks, maybe occasionally meeting up to remember the "good old days" when they were still the coolest kids around and when they were still the best at the ever-important field of high school sports.

At least, that's how it usually works out in real life.
