how realistic does it seem? seriously who would break into a HOTEL while 2 pple are having sex and rape the girl? Seriously thats just so unrealistic dont u think ?

But sick *beep* happens in life and movies tend to not be about the mundane.
Ask Connie Francis (Wikipedia, if the name isn't familiar). Granted she wasn't having sex with anyone at the time, but it did happen to her in a hotel room. It has happened to other people. Now, I don't know how often it happens when there's a couple going at it in a hotel room or elsewhere, but there have been home invasions where the husband/boyfriend is incapacitated and the woman is sexually assuaulted. Check out Fran Drescher's bio (again, Wikipedia will do) for a real-life example of that.
Besides, in the case of Derailed, it wasn't real. It was part of the scam.
