I've always loved Season 4, and I see that it's extremely disliked on here. I can't really say I dislike any of the seasons actually, but Season 2 is my least favorite even though that sometimes seems to be the favorite here.
I also love Ivy and Jenny!
Anybody else seem to like characters or storylines that are generally disliked?
Chuck and Blair make the show for me. I can't stand Serena or Dan, and Nate bores me.
shareThis isn't me being confrontational, but Chuck and Blair making the show for you isn't an unpopular opinion. Neither is not liking Dan and Serena. A vast majority of GG fans love Chair and hate everyone else. Especially Dan and Serena.
shareI absolutely hate Blair. I don't care how attractive or charismatic Leighton is. She is my least favorite character (yes, even before characters like Ivy, Vanessa, etc), she is a downright awful person and it's disturbing how much admiration she gets from fans - as a person, not a character.

shareWell I'm just now seeing this board so I don't necessarily know what's unpopular opinion yet but personally:
1) I liked Jenny as a character; she was such a bitch for no reason to the point where I couldn't sympathize with her the way I could with Blair but at the same time I loved to hate her and she was missed
2) I liked Dair a bit more by the end. I mean I did like how Blair and chuck ended up together I suppose but I much would've preferred if Dan and Blair reconciled. Chuck should've died. I would've preferred if he died in the car crash (BLAIR SHOULDVE BEEN IN DEEP DISPAIR WITH A LOST BABY AND LOSING CHUCK) but that's a whole other point lol
3) Couldn't stand Vanessa's ass. She was a female Dan with even less redeeming qualities. D
4) Lily was one of my favorites until the Ben story arc and the ivy thing.
5) Serena was a bitch but in the end I can forgive her- she still was biggest bitch of them all I think though
I love Nate/Blair. They were my OTP from the books and their scenes on the show were cute as well.
I never ever wanted Nate/Serena.
Can't think of too many more because I'm a standard GG fan. Loved Blair, hated Serena, liked Chair a lot early on until sh-t went downhill. Hated the show post s4.

Loving Nate and Blair is not an unpopular opinion, believe it or not. I have never seen a formal couple who is loved as much as they are to the point where fans do not mind if they were together but ultimately prefer Chuck and Blair.
Serena and Nate are also very divided in the fan base, so you basically agree with 50 percent of them.
I've always enjoyed watching Serena's storylines than Blair's. Blair may be really great at scheming but I never did like how she treated people around her (especially her minions, they're not any better but they still deserve to be treated nicely) I find it downright disrespectful and offensive. But I guess that's just how it worked.
