Did Maya recover?

Well they had to go back to the base in two more weeks and start the next season, so I was just wondering.

She could have been benched. As I recall it, old Jack and one of the twins, Dewey, taken out by the seal or walrus whatever the hell that thing was.

With the teeth that it had after looking it up I think it was a leopard seal.
